RV Rallies & Caravans Explained: What’s the Difference?

Ready to hit the road in style? With Fantasy RV Tours, you have two amazing ways to explore the world on wheels: Rallies and Caravans. Both are planned by professionals (say goodbye to stressful trip planning!), but which style fits your travel vibe?

Read on for a Fantasy RV Tours comparison…

RV Rallies: Park Once, Experience More!

An RV Rally is a group of RVers who rendezvous to celebrate an event or explore a place. You'll meet up with fellow travelers in one buzzing location and stay put while you soak up the scene. Fantasy RV Tours offers more than 20 epic RV Rallies - there is truly a trip for every interest!

Want to wander through Washington DC? Taste your way through New Orleans? Do-si-do your way through Branson? Or maybe you want to live it up at a one-of-a-kind event like the Rose Parade or Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. Fantasy RV Tours offers a front-row seat to all the action!

Compared to an RV Caravan, Rallies are more of a "home base" adventure, lasting 6 to 10 days. Once you arrive, you'll be welcomed by a Fantasy tour leader who will guide the Rally, answer all your questions, and make sure you don't miss a moment. You'll get settled into your campsite, and then the fun begins: group meals, themed parties, music, and live entertainment.

Additionally, Fantasy pre-plans outings to local must-sees like museums, parks, and exclusive behind-the-scenes experiences. All outings and transportation are included in the price of the Rally. For instance, our Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta Rally includes a private balloon demo with an experienced pilot!

An RV Rally might be ideal for you if…

• You're a social butterfly. You'll love the group meals and social hours!
• You prefer a stationary destination packed with exciting events and entertainment.
• You are still working and have a limited amount of time off, so a shorter vacation is a must.
• You want an RV travel experience featuring comfort, low pressure, and a fun setting.
• You're eager to explore a particular city or event, and having a ready-made itinerary means you'll see all the highlights - no regrets, no what-ifs.
• You are curious for a taste of RV group travel and might consider a longer trip in the future. Rallies are great for first-timers looking to get their feet wet!

RV Caravans: Your Rolling Adventure Awaits

If you're hearing the call of the open road and crave new experiences, an RV Caravan may be more your speed. These RV trips are rolling adventures mapped out by Fantasy RV's planning pros.

No more worrying about itineraries, hard-to-find campground reservations, or RV-friendly routes - just show up and enjoy the journey. From the moment you arrive, our expert team is there to guide you. Before each driving day, you'll receive briefings on fuel stops, scenic routes, and road conditions, ensuring a hassle-free RV adventure. You'll have support for mechanical issues, personal concerns, and health-related needs, so you can relax knowing assistance is always available.

But it's not all schedules and structure! When you caravan with Fantasy RV, you'll have free time and optional excursions to make your RV vacation truly your own.

An RV Caravan might be ideal for you if…

• You prefer a multi-destination RV experience.
• You consider yourself an explorer. Adventure is calling!
• You are retired or can take an extended getaway to enjoy a longer vacation. Fantasy's RV Caravans range anywhere from 12 to 63 days.
