Stubborn as a mule? You bet! But the town of Bishop, California, knows how to celebrate these long-eared athletes! Comprised of 14 shows and over 700 mules, trainers, riders and packers, this festival treats more than 30,000 spectators with a variety of pageantry. Competitors are determined to prove that anything a horse can do, a mule can do better! Events include English jumping, dressage, team roping, western riding, chariot racing and more.
