Tour Overview & Route

NESTLED ALONG THE EASTERN SLOPES OF THE MAGNIFICENT SIERRA NEVADA MOUNTAINS in the pastoral community of Bishop, California, a festival unlike any other in the world roars to life. Mule Days is part show, part skills test and part Wild West heritage. Comprised of 14 shows and over 700 mules, trainers, riders and packers, this festival treats more than 30,000 spectators with a variety of pageantry. Competitors are determined to prove that anything a horse can do, a mule can do better! Events include English jumping, dressage, team roping, western riding, chariot racing and more. Demonstrating both grace and style, skeptics need only look as far as the team roping and sorting events to believe in the character of these mules.
