Tour Overview & Route

THE WAR OF NOBLE CAUSE ...A SINGLE NATION’S FIGHT. This special journey along the rugged path of history takes us to a time of American struggle for what today seems a simple and inalienable right. From the first shots fired at Charleston’s Fort Sumter, to the fights to control the railways through Tennessee, to the famous Gettysburg Address on the battlefield that marked the turn-of-time, this war between brothers caused a profound suffering, all for a noble cause — the freedom our nation holds dear. Our tour revisits many battle sites along the southern front and follows the movements north. There are many highlights, meals and activities that celebrate the regions of our travels which will return us to present day and make this vacation complete.
